Job Details
Position Objective:
To ensure that all structural design analyses and drawings are completed accurately and in compliance with approved design criteria, engineering standards, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Managerial Responsibilities:
Schedule and assign workloads to team members, ensuring balanced task distribution.
Oversee the progress of structural design engineers and draftsmen within the team.
Monitor ongoing projects, prepare progress reports, and submit updates to the Lead Structural Engineer.
Technical Responsibilities:
Receive and implement design instructions from the Lead Structural Engineer.
Plan and perform structural design and framing system analysis.
Coordinate effectively with Architecture, Mechanical, and Electrical departments to meet project requirements.
Check final structural working drawings to ensure compliance with approved criteria and international codes.
Review and approve contractors’ submittals and shop drawings.
Provide technical support and recommendations to site engineers to resolve construction challenges.
Manage documentation and communication of signed forms, reports, and submissions between departments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and proven experience as a team manager.

Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and related structural software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment:
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment.
Overtime may be required based on project demands, including occasional weekends or holidays.
