• Position Objective:

​The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for accomplishing the company's Plumbing and Fire Fighting works in a timely, efficient, and economical manner. You will provide leadership and guidance to the section on matters related to studies, designs, specifications, and drawings.

• Key Responsibilities:

​-Technical Leadership & Verification:

​Provide leadership and guidance related to studies, designs, specifications, and drawings in the area of responsibility.

​Verify that all plumbing and fire fighting design works, drawings, and documents comply with current codes, standards, and company standards.

​Utilize knowledge of modern and complex principles of engineering for design and design review.

​-Project & Team Management:

​Organize and manage the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to you.

​Provide relevant engineering work support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.

​Responsible for the coordination between all disciplines.

​Direct and organize the work allocated to the team.

​Implement specific engineering works in accordance with the project work program.

​Undertake special and/or project assignments as required by the Head of Department.

• Supervisory Scope:

​This position supervises Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Senior Draftsmen, and Draftsmen.

• Required Qualifications & Experience:

​Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university. A Master's degree in Mechanical design is preferable. Membership in professional bodies in Egypt and/or elsewhere is required.

​Experience: 10–15 years of experience with a theoretical background in principles of plumbing and fire fighting design.

• Key Skills & Abilities:

​Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Plumbing & Fire Fighting design standards and codes.

​Software: Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software, including CAD tools, MEP, and Word Processing Software.

​Management: Knowledge of Human Resources Management Principles.

​Soft Skills: Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

​Work Style: Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision, and capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.

​Communication: Good English oral and written communication skills.
