Summary

Responsible for designing and implementing efficient backend functionalities using backend programming languages, such as Java, Python, Ruby, or GoLang, writing clean and maintainable code, and optimizing APIs performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, delivery leads, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget. Ensuring incorporating security best practices. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and continuously improve skills and knowledge to stay competitive in the industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

Experience

• Familiarity with Magento 2 or any other Ecommerce platform

• 1 – 3  years of experience in Java, and GoLang backend development.

• Experience with headless architecture and related technologies, including GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Experience in designing and developing APIs, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, to facilitate data communication between frontend and backend systems.

• Experience with (Git/Bitbucket/GitHub) or other version control systems.

• Understanding of security best practices, such as data encryption, secure coding practices, and protection against common web vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting).

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache).

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
