• Refine Design Solutions: Propose creative and practical solutions to design challenges.

• Prepare Presentations: Create diagrams, renderings, and visual materials for internal reviews

2. Technical Documentation

• Drawings and Models: Produce and coordinate architectural drawings, 3D models (often in

Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp), and construction documents.

• Detailing: Develop architectural details, sections, and elevations with a focus on

constructability and code compliance.

• BIM Coordination: Contribute to and manage parts of the Building Information Modeling (BIM)

process.

3. Coordination and Communication

• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and other disciplines to

ensure design integration.

• Internal Communication: Act as a bridge between junior staff and senior leadership, relaying

design intent and feedback.

• Client Interaction: Occasionally attend client meetings or workshops, especially for technical or

4. Project Management Support

• Task Management: Take ownership of specific project components or packages (e.g., façade,

interiors, ceilings).

• Schedule Awareness: Work within project timelines and flag potential delays or issues to the

Lead Architect and/or design manager.

• Quality Control: Review work for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project goals.

• Meeting Notes: Take notes during design meetings and help track action items.

5. Mentorship and Team Support

• Support Junior Staff: Guide junior architects and interns in design tasks, software use, and

documentation standards.

• Design Reviews: Participate in internal critiques and provide constructive feedback.
