  • Position Purpose:

​This leadership role is critical for achieving product excellence and guiding the strategic design of the product portfolio and packaging. You will manage the entire product lifecycle from innovating new and exciting recipes to overseeing daily production for quality and efficiency, and training and supervising the team.


  • ​Key Duties & Responsibilities:

​1. Product Strategy and R&D Leadership

​Product Portfolio Design: Build and develop a comprehensive and profitable product portfolio (menu) that caters to various customer segments.

​Innovation: Innovate and develop new chocolate recipes and products tailored to the tastes and trends of the Saudi market.

​Quality Improvement: Improve existing recipes to enhance quality or reduce costs while maintaining the signature taste.

​End-to-End Design: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and recipe development to designing the packaging that reflects the brand identity.

​Networking: Leverage an existing network and build new relationships with suppliers and experts in the Saudi market to source the best ingredients and insights.


​2. Production & Quality Management

​Operations Oversight: Plan, organize, and direct the daily chocolate manufacturing operations.

​Process Supervision: Supervise all production stages, including ingredient preparation, mixing, tempering, moulding, cooling, and packaging.

​Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards are implemented and monitored at every stage of production.

​Compliance: Ensure full compliance with food safety and health standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP).

​Inventory: Oversee inventory management for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure availability and minimize waste.

​Equipment Care: Maintain and clean production equipment, ensuring it operates correctly and safely.


​3. Team Management & Training

​Manage, train, and delegate tasks to the production team to ensure an efficient workflow.

​Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.


  • Required Qualifications & Skills:

​-Experience: 8–10 years of experience as a chocolatier with proven experience in product development and production management.

​-Education: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Art, Pastry, or Food product Marketing is a strong advantage, or a related field.

​-Technical Skills (Advanced Mastery is required):

​Full mastery of advanced chocolate-making techniques (Tempering, Moulding, Enrobing).

​Deep knowledge of cocoa properties and different types of chocolate.

​High precision and a keen eye for detail.


  • ​Strategic Skills:

​Ability to think strategically and connect product development with business and sales goals.

​Strong professional network within the F&B Sector in Saudi Arabia.

​Advanced problem-solving, risk identification, and mitigation abilities.

  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.
